Kap River Nature Reserve
 
Situated 28km east of Port Alfred, between the Kap and Fish Rivers, the Kap River Nature Reserve covers an area of 670ha and is characterised by lush sub-tropical forest vegetation with large trees and dense foliage. Not only is the area home to a rich plant life, it is also home to over 300 bird species including the fish eagle, heron, hornbill, crowned eagle and African finfoot. Big game in the area includes impala, duiker and bushbuck.
